The Football Forge Power Rankings: Week 31

Legion slips again

Having been out of town in Chicago this past weekend we have a lot to catch up on this week so another shortened post is in order. That’s especially true because there is a game tonight and several games tomorrow night. Tonight’s game is important: Loudoun United take on Indy Eleven. There’s no really good result for the Legion in this one; a draw or Loudoun win sees the Legion drop to 8th and an Indy win puts the Eleven 3 points clear. The Legion lost 0-1 to Indy earlier this year but still have the return fixture to play, so that is about as good as it gets.

A ton of teams have a double-game week coming up. The only idle team this week is The™ Miami FC, whose double-game week last week put them at 27 losses for the year. That historic mark is surely deserving of a rest.
